These terms and conditions ("Terms") constitute a legal agreement between you and ShockResQ, a nonprofit organization based in the state of Georgia. By participating in any programs or using any resources provided by ShockResQ, you agree to abide by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should refrain from using our services and programs.
Volunteer Engagement
By participating in any volunteer activities or programs offered by ShockResQ, you acknowledge that you are doing so voluntarily and understand the nature of your involvement. As a volunteer, you agree to act in accordance with the values and mission of ShockResQ, dedicating your time and efforts to contribute positively to disaster-affected communities. Your commitment is appreciated, and your engagement serves as a vital part of our collective mission to provide essential resources and support in times of need. While volunteering, you are expected to uphold a standard of respect, inclusivity, and dedication to the betterment of communities affected by disasters. Your enthusiasm and dedication contribute significantly to the success of ShockResQ's initiatives.
Non-liability Clause
ShockResQ is not responsible for how you utilize the resources, information, or programs provided. Users acknowledge that they assume full responsibility for their actions and decisions.
Program and Resource Use
Users understand and agree that any resources, materials, or information provided by ShockResQ are intended for informational purposes and should be used responsibly.
Compliance with Local Laws
Users are responsible for ensuring their compliance with all applicable local laws and regulations when participating in any programs or using resources provided by ShockResQ.
Intellectual Property
All content, materials, and resources provided by ShockResQ, including but not limited to the blog, are protected by intellectual property laws. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or use such materials without proper authorization.
Limitation of Liability
ShockResQ shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of our programs, resources, or services.
Modification of Terms
ShockResQ reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. It is the user's responsibility to review the Terms regularly to stay informed of any changes.

ShockResQ, as a non-profit organization registered with the Corporations Division of the Georgia Secretary of State, currently does not hold tax-exempt status. Consequently, donations made to ShockResQ may not qualify for tax deductions.Despite the absence of tax-exempt status, we want to assure our audience that this does not hinder ShockResQ from performing at its very best. Our dedication to disaster-affected communities remains unwavering, and we are actively pursuing tax-exempt status as part of our strategic vision. This strategic initiative is not just about financial benefits. It is about enhancing our organizational capabilities, allowing us to maximize our positive impact on the communities we serve. We believe that pursuing tax-exempt status will further fortify our commitment to transparency, sustainability, and effectiveness, ensuring that ShockResQ continues to operate at the highest level of service to those in need.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, United States of America. Any legal action or proceeding related to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located within the State of Georgia. By using ShockResQ's programs, resources, or services, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of these courts for any such legal actions or proceedings. Furthermore, you agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. By using ShockResQ's services, you waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration. If any part of this class action waiver is deemed unenforceable, the remainder of the arbitration agreement and class action waiver shall still be considered valid and enforceable.
Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold ShockResQ harmless from any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from their actions or use of provided resources. This means that users will be responsible for any legal claims or costs incurred by ShockResQ due to their actions or utilization of the resources provided.
