Understanding types of Disasters
There are various types of disasters, with natural disasters being among the most common examples, such as hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, and others. Other types of disasters may not stem from natural forces, such as house fires and long-term power outages.
Disasters can also encompass suffering from chronic illnesses, violence, homelessness, and much more.
While these examples illustrate certain types of disasters, everyone interprets disasters differently. Our responsibility is to help alleviate the shock of whichever disaster you may be experiencing.
Past Events
SRQ is hosting a donation drive at EPHS for gently used sneakers in partnership with GotSneakers. All collected sneakers will be donated to enterprises in developing countries, providing them with a new life. Shockingly, 200 million shoes are sent to landfills annually in the US, despite over 600 million people worldwide not owning a single pair of sneakers.

The L.E.A.R.N. Foundation is dedicated to empowering individuals to achieve their aspirations through education. Founded on the principle that everyone deserves access to the tools for success, they deliver innovative community outreach programs that uplift individuals and families, encouraging growth and prosperity.
GotSneakers mission is to recycle and reuse pre-loved sneakers, thereby keeping them out of landfills and reducing toxic chemicals. Reusable sneakers are sent to developing countries, where they are given new life.
The aim of Helping Hands of Paulding County is to establish a supportive and dignified environment where individuals can seek assistance without facing judgment or stigma.
Bee Swarm Guide is a YouTuber focused on the popular Roblox game Bee Swarm Simulator. He uses his platform to educate players on the game and organizes charity events within it.

Our Process
Acknowledge
Over 150 million people worldwide are homeless. Thousands die from natural disasters each year. Thousands lose their homes to fires annually. Millions are diagnosed with cancer every year. Our goal at ShockResQ is to alleviate the shock and provide support to those facing these overwhelming challenges and more.
Educate
On our blog, we provide both children’s and standard versions of our episodes, each designed to be read in just three minutes. Our goal is to empower everyone with the knowledge needed to navigate and educate others about disasters.
